I wanna go fishing so bad right now, but NOOOO some moron had to hit the bay bridge and dump 58,000 gallons of oil into the S.f. bay and ruin fishing for everything within damn near a hundred miles! I finally caught my first Leopard shark (baby about 1 1/2) (yes I released it!) and the next day they tell me I can't go out anymore, unless I go all the way down to Santa Cruz! Anyone have a sniper rifle I can borrow to shoot the idiot that was piloting the damn boat?!

Unfortunately I haven't had time to fish, since I got back from my Pacific NorthWest Tour.
Family BS, Gun Show's, Gift Shows, etc.

I am from up north originally (Washington state). When it gets a good rainy season the fishing tends to be better. Atleast that is how I remember it. -

Mon, December 3, 2007 - 10:09 AMLake Tahoe the 1st 2 weekends of June - Slayed the Trout.
July - Too busy working events to get my line wet.
August - Gig Harbor WA - More Trout action at various Lakes public & private.
After 3rd weekend of August, headed back down to Eugene, OR area.
Fished the Mc Kenzie, Williamette, & another River I can't remember at the moment, but the Trout were better than the Salmon bite.
Fished the coast at Reedsport & Florence, then a little Lake called Triangle.
No real hot bites to record, but still had a lot of fun out in the sunshine catching rays.
I can't wait to move to Oregon.

Wed, December 5, 2007 - 3:30 AMI am hoping to go out tomorrow...err today now that it is Wednesday. Hopefully I will catch something. Even if I don't it will still be nice to get outside and relax and not think about anything but the bite :)
Glad you had fun on your trip! I hear Oregon is a really great place for fishing and outdoor activities. I need to get some cash together and go check it out. Good luck on the move :) -
