Fri, June 29, 2007 - 9:12 AMin august you have pink salmon that are at the river mouths mixed with coho .....all very fun to catch from shore. you have sea run cutthroat trout both entering streams and in the ocean. if you have a boat the catching a big tyee would be a blast.the summer run steelhead have it tuff in aug, because of low water but there are rivers that have good water all year. fishing with a boat is grate. lots of cod and snaper ...halibit if your lucky.i do not know if you will be in vic... or some were elts on the island. its realy big.. if your more north than victoria itself than let me know cause theres some fantastic spots on the island!!!! ...................fishing in b.c......a passionate obsession ......fish hard ..patches
